Today is the deadline to submit candidate statements to the PDGA for the position of State Coordinator for California (South). There are two PDGA representatives for California one for the North and one for the South.
I volunteered to fill the California (South) position that was vacated upon the death of Tim Selinske last August. I am more than willing to continue as the South co-coordinator as long as there are no other willing volunteers.
I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of volunteering to help disc golf in Southern California to consider running for this position. This is a great opportunity to give back to the disc golf community and to add to your disc golf resume. I will be more than happy to help with the transition and provide any support necessary.
