whats the deal I went up this week and to my dismay there were no baskets so on the way back I stopped at a local watering hole and herd that Mt High ski resort was now operating the course, versus the previous operator, and it was to be opened on the 12th of june and it was only to be opened on the weekends 4 play. Can any one confirm this.......

This is true, but the course at Sunrise will not be available until next Friday. Please don't drive up here and take a chance of being sent away by security.

A hearty thanks to Tom and friends for the labors to get one of SoCal's special courses ready for the summer season. Can't wait to play soon.

Also, to note for those unfamiliar with Yucaipa's seasonal status, there is nothing to worry about with regards to baskets being taken out. This is normal every year as the baskets go back to Wrightwood for the summer, when Yucaipa is unplayable due to crowds.

There are good people who are quietly working with Yucaipa/San Bernardino County Regional Parks staff to pursue year-round possibilities at Yucaipa in areas of the park which are not affected by the summer crowds. The course that has been there for the last four winters is known by many of us as "the Winter Course."

I was quite shocked to see you post that, which I'm sure is why Bill responded 20 minutes later in a similar fashion - as it seems he saw it the same way I did - more smart aleck than smiling.

hey its your favorite guy to hate stringfinger, first off for all you haters out here sorry for being honest. the thing is I was stating my opinion in which I was not making a personal judgement of suzette in the sense of (bashing) only that she was overwhelmed like usual at so cal events, and as it seems on this link its always the same 5 people commenting about these things, I was only being honest so take a chill. and hopefully your not that emotional when you play disc golf.,but love to play hope to see you and beat you soon yours truly Adam Aguilera.
