The Pease Park disc golf course will be closing by the end of this year according to a news broadcast by parks director Sara Hensley on Tuesday, May 25th (Fox, ch.7). The closure is due to The Lower Shoal Creek Channel Stabilization Project, but she did not say whether this will be a temporary or permanent removal of the course nor did she make any suggestion as to the future of disc golf at Austins most central disc golf course, Pease Park.
