Hi everybody, Got wind that Joe Painter, his wife and their church group are building orphanages in Mexico. Recently they received 1300 pairs of shoes from a mfg in Ft Worth. 1300 pairs of shoes/NO SOCKS. I would like to keep LODGA's reputaion as a chairitable club by holding a SOCK DRIVE for these kids. Socks must be new and in paks. Kids sizes 5-12. Joe will bring them down in October. 4 days into the drive and already have 50 pairs. Please pass this info along to anyone who maybe intrested. I found that the dollar tree next to Gatti's on Pat Booker has 3 pairs for $1...FYI
Nothing like putting on a fresh new pair of socks. Thanks for all your continued support and kindness. I will be collecting at the mini's, big tourneys or anytime until the end of Sept, I'll pick them up if need be.

Thank you everyone who participated in the sock drive during LOSO. We collected 190 pairs and that puts the count up to 1,231/1,300. We will be collecting until the middle of September, so there is still time to donate. In Jesus' name, we will hit if not surpass our goal. Thanks again.
