This Friday the PFDS will be working on the Lakeview disc golf course at Moraine State Park. The plan is to level the remaining tee pads, cut up & remove fallen trees (holes 2 & 16) and install a couple of anchors for new pin placements. The DCNR will provide us with the mechanical plate tamper, but we will be in need of the following items:

Post Hole digger
Digging bar
Shovels
Metal rakes
Hand tampers
Chainsaw
Sledge hammers
Pruners
Bow saw
Pole saw
Axe or Mattock
Wheelbarrow
Water (for concrete & for plate tamper)
Volunteers!

Don't forget your work gloves! Work will begin at 9:00 am with some folks starting earlier. If you can only make it out for an hour or two, we can still use your help. Unlike last year's work day, the weather is supposed to be beautiful! Sunny with a high of 79! :)

Pizza lunch will be provided by PFDS. Bring your own beverages, please.

J Gary visited the Lakeview course this morning and he said that Frank is dumping gravel near the tees. We will use this gravel to fill around the tees to help prevent erosion. Shovels, rakes, tampers and wheelbarrows will be needed for this job.

Also, J Gary has provided me with some anchors so we can install some new pin placements in addition to tee work. One thing which would help this effort is a wheelbarrow we can mix cement. Hopefully, someone can provide said item for the project.
