The 14th Annual Brent Hambrick Memorial Open will once again be contested at the scenic Hoover Reservoir in Westerville, Ohio. We will be playing on the 27 hole Brent Hambrick Memorial DCG and the 18 hole temporary west course.

Columbus has been a stop on the prestigious PDGA tour since the early 90s when Brent Hambrick (PDGA #2797) ran one of the best tournaments in the country - The Columbus Open. Brent set the standard for all tournaments with his professionalism and attention to details. After losing his battle with Leukemia in 1997, the tournament was renamed in his honor and has been a charity fundraiser for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. To date, the BHMO has raised over $36,000 in the last thirteen years.

The Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club takes great pride in hosting the BHMO. We continue to strive to present the most competitive courses and the best player experience possible.

The BHMO features a final 9 with the famous Dam Shot and one of the biggest galleries you will see all year. With many player amenities from a players party at Quaker Steak and Lube to Dairy Queen Treats, we hope your tournament experience is enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to seeing old friends, and making new ones.

* The National Tour divisions will include all Men and Women, Open Pro, Masters, and Grandmasters.

* The Super Tour divisions will include all Amateur Men and Women- Advanced, Intermediate, Recreational, and Novice.

* All divisions require at least 4 players to open a division

Registration is open for the N/T and A-Tier at: http://columbusdiscgolf.com/10BHMO/

As always the Columbus Flyers DGC will be working hard to provide you the best player experience possible.

Our pre-awards raffle has become very popular and is a key part of our success in raising over $4000.00 for our charity- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
I am reaching out to all of you for your help. If you are attending our event would you think about donating something to our raffle? It doesn't need to be disc golf related, anything you think might help us in reaching our goal of $5000.00 raised would be appreciated. Just drop those items at tournament central or give them to me.
If you are not coming and would like to give, please mail items to:
Paul Jay
2045 Tupsfield Rd.
Columbus, Ohio 43229

All items donated are on display all weekend for spectators as well as competitors to see. This may appeal to some of you disc golf retailers. For a small donation you recieve exposure at an N/t an A-Tier event.

I want to thank everyone in advanced for your contributions. I have had tremendous response in the past from clubs, individuals and companes wanting to help our cause and to be part of something special.

Our raffle is just one aspect of our fundraising at the BHMO.

100% of all Dairy Queen treats sales is donated courtesy of Mid-Ohio Dairy Queens.

Profits from all Subway lunch sales is also donated courtesy of Morse Rd. Subway.

These are some easy ways for everyone to help. Easy eh?

I am looking forward to a great time and seeing all of you.

Thanks for your consideration, Pual Jay- AKA "Beard"
