Puh-leeaaasseee....

That's not the hole 15 I'm familiar with! :)

Your right, I do not remember it being nearly that open. I guess a logo with nothing but trees would be difficult for most people to know what it is. Wish I had the Ironwood logo.

I think the logo captures the feel of #15 pretty well! The tee sign is actually on the right side of the tee, however.

Never thought about that...I'll tell Sara to move the tee sign to the correct side.

I'm not sure which I am more excited about. The Indiana Open or the Ironwood. I'm just glad I don't have to decide between the two events. Wish there were more folks pre registered for Indiana though.....slackers

Sara just got back from The Collegiate Disc Golf National Championship. They left Wednesday and got back in town this morning at 2am. Pretty sure she'll update the list when she can.

And I'm assuming they'll have a lot of people register that day...

Only a few days away. Would be nice to see some more of the Pittsburgh and Butler boys signed up for this event!!! Let's support a great event and a great course. If you have never been to a tournament in Indiana, you are missing out on a great event. The College Lodge is such a great tournament headquarters.

Good times to be had by all. Please sign up and support their efforts.

Great times at IUP. Great tournament with tons of prizes for everyone!!

Looking forward to next year, perhaps we can make it a 2-day event once again.

I agree IUP was an awesome time. The IUP chain gang did a great job and it was one of the most generous events I have ever been to.

I still cannot believe 7 of us ate dinner at wolfie's for $42. I need to live in a college town. Thanks for the gift cards! and the basket!

It was definitely my highest rated round....by far!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that score of 50 looks to be the new course record for the blue tees. ;)

I don't know Jerry? J Gary would know. I shot a 51 at the course championship. I believe that J Gary shot a 48 back in 04 or 05 at the Collegiate Championships?

I am not positive though, I know that J Gary had the course record at one time.

kUrTp

I shot a 51 at the course championship.

Nick Schneider shot a 51, Blue tee to A-pins at the 2008 PA States. - Chris tied at Course Championship but not official...

Tyler Horne's shot a 45, White to A-pins in 2004.

Brad Schick and Nick Cassidy shot a 55, Blue to B-Pin in 2008

Nate Krahn and Jerry Gotcher both shot 52, White to B-Pins in 2008

Jerry's 50 would be a course record for a combination of A / B pins, there's only 4 rounds of combination pins recorded

That's all the information I could find... http://www.pdga.com/course-ratings-by-course?RatingCourseID=1819

So if Jerry has the course record from Long to mixed pins, does that mean that me and Nick Schneider both have the course record for Long to A-pins???

SCOTT
Apr 27 2010, 04:33 PM
I think it means that you tied the record. The first one to set it holds the record.

I guess so...I'd say you share that record. But does a course record have to be set at a PDGA event or does casual rounds count?

sandalbagger
Apr 27 2010, 04:49 PM
Official round. I would say that the course championship is an official round,

And besides Steve Kohmans original record at Knob Hill was a casual round and it counted.

But anyway, I didn't even think that 51 was that good. Curious to see what the top pros could shoot out there.

Apr 28 2010, 11:31 AM
J gary would know for sure.

But I can't believe no one has put up a round in the 40's. It's not really a hard course. As long as you take a 3 on 1, 7, 13, 14, and 18, you should easily be able to shoot in the 40's.

Now if only you can pull a round like that off at Seneca.

Remember...IDLA only installed the Blue Tees before the 2005 season. So any tournament before that played only white tee.
