... not many people enjoyed this Sport and Life itself more than Brent Edwards , PDGA 3858 , of Norman ... Jack Wilson called me to tell me that he lost his fight today with illness ... this guy was a pleasure to be around ... he will be missed ...

Brent was always one of those golfers I looked up to since I started playing. I remember him and Ron Bear having great battles together and usually Brent coming out on top (and smiling). He's definitely one of those guys I wish I could have been around more often. He will be missed but not forgotten...

He was a very giving, wonderful soul to be around. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Take a moment to celebrate friends and life... we are all lucky to have known him.

First met Brent in 1985 at NE Lions park.
I was just learning to play real disc golf,
and lived just down the street from the park.
Jack and Clint were just neighbors back then.
Haven't seen too many families that played disc golf together,
Memories of Brent, His Brother, and Wife?
Always thought that was special.
Brent was ALWAYS positive about things.
He will be truely missed.

Cheif was one of the coolest, nicest golfers to be around. I remember him and Gunner real well when me and Kelly Ray were starting out.(around 85 like Dale). It was always fun to hang with him, he NEVER had a cross word. Always upbeat, quiet not obnoxiuos. God bless him and all of his disc golf family and family. Zooc out.....

I believe there was a service today down S. of Lawton. I've heard there might be another here in Norman. I'll keep you posted as I hear more.

That is really a bummer. Brent was one cool dude! Thoughts and prayers to his family. I will definately miss seeing him and Mitch together, always not just smiling, but laughing and making the most fun out of every moment. RIP Brent.

I drew Brents name in a draw dubs mini once. I remember him being a solid putter. Brent was a really nice guy and a heck of a good disc golfer. Wasn't Brent a world champ?
