This is pretty much the best course I've ever played and the best single course I've played in Texas. It tops Manor and The MetCenter. If you haven't played it, shame on you :D.

Are there any tourneys at this course?

Don't pay any mind to this guy. He is crazy, nothing in Austin tops Manor. The Ridge is just a scenic walk, leave the discs at home.

For real? Brad are you a sadomasicist? I mean I love Manor and will put it in the top 10, but not #1. I am planning to come up on the 15th for another round at the Ridge and maybe I'll Manor too. Last time I played the Ridge and then the Met and was less than impressed with the Met.

I've seen/heard word going round that 2 baskets were stolen from the Austin Ridge Bible Church course. This is really despicable!!!

They put up a great course for all to play, so the least we can do is help the church get the baskets back from whoever stole them (prosecution of the thieves would be even better though, in my opinion).

Below is some information from Josh Thornton, the Property Director for the church. If you have ANY information at all about these thefts, please contact Josh.

It was basket #1 and #3 on our course. They have 1 and 3 on them. They are Innova Disc Catchers. Red lettering and yellow top trim. They will not have the locking tab on them. They were donated to the church by an individual trying to give back to the community.

Thanks for your help,

Josh Thornton

The Lone Star Deaf Disc Golf Assoc. (LSDDGA) and the Austin Bible Ridge Church are having a workday this Sunday, May 22nd.

The goal is to get the course looking and playing better for the National Deaf Disc Golf Championships being held here in Austin next weekend. Please come on out and help, this is a great chance to support our local deaf disc golf community and to give back to the church that gave us disc golfers such a cool course to play on.

Thanks,
Waterloo Disc Golf Club

LSDDGA & the church sent the following info:

The project is from 9:00am to 1:00pm this Sunday, May 22. We will meet at the church at 9:00 am (there is a little pavilion by hole #1) to go over the project list and put some teams together. We'll be putting out shredded mulch on T-Boxes, picking up trash, cleaning disc baskets, and chalking the Out of Bounds.

The church has some rakes and forks for mulch and trash bags. You will want to bring gloves, hat, sunscreen, etc. and comfortable shoes (if you are familiar with the course it can be a little challenging terrain).

We will also provide water and snacks for the day.

Any other equipment you think might help with the spruce-up feel free to bring. Wheelbarrow would be good. Maybe something to trim vines, undergrowth around baskets or T-Boxes.

WOW if there has already been a workday out there then there should be about 6 more of them to get this course even remotely in shape. I mean the tee boxes out there are terrible. they make NT look like it has concrete boxes. and the fairways or what little fairways are out there have big piles of mulch all over them and the lines are few and far between. Could be a great course with some work!!!!

and whoever throws there beer cans and cigarette butts on the ground at a Church course needs to be kicked straight in the NUTZ!!!!

Agree with point two. As to point one, waaah!!! The boxes aren't great, but other than one, there are legit lines on every hole.
