Juliana Korver Presents La Vie en Rose

This unique ladies-only disc golf event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. For more information and to post your support, please visit http://julianakorver.net/rose/

Are there any PFDS ladies interested in heading to Florida to play in this event? It would be a good break from the monotony of winter around here. If interested contact myself via email (bonassa187@yahoo.com) or pm me (Scott Hartle PDGA# 37446). This will also be posted on the PFDS website for replies if youre not able to respond here. The board will review each request on an individual basis.

Entry Fee: The club may be offering sponsorships to those ladies interested.

Travel: You can get a plane ticket for about $125 if you book soon. Also One of our board members may be able to extend a discount on air travel.

Lodging: Your entry into the event provides you with two nights of primitive camping. Communal bathrooms with showers are available for campers. For more information about the camping or other facilities at the Suwannee Music Park, visit their website: http://www.musicliveshere.com

In Julianas words:

"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to the life in rose. The English equivalent to this is life through rose-tinted glasses or even life is rosy.

If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.

La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.

This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.

This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
