Yesterday at Morley on hole 10, position A, in the process of throwing a difficult lefty spike sidearm, I overextended the rotation of my throw and felt somewhat of a pop sensation in my right hip. I went straight to the ground thinking maybe I disolocated my hip. After laying there on the ground for a minute, I managed to get up and felt a lot of stiffness and pain in my right hip. Minimal swelling, no popping sounds, maybe I might of torn some ligaments. I've had some hip pain before when rotating for sidearm throws, but nothing this extreme. So, I'm going to take it day-by-day and rest this week and hopefully I'll be ok to play Palm Desert by Saturday.
One concern I have is that I have played the soccor course many times, and because of the clockwise rectangular setup, I manage to throw almost every single shot sidearm. I don't forsee anyone shooting a -27 under, but I felt I had a good chance to make up some ground on the final nine with the setup in reverse for lefties.

Sorry to hear that Patrick - hope you feel better b4 Saturday. The reverse layout should be to your liking. Hopefully, I will have a map up later today or tomorrow. P.S. Nobody will get to 27 down - but it should be fun to try!

You're spending too much time with Carl - injuries are contagious!

What were the high scores for last year? I'm usually good for a few down each round w/o mulligans at the course.

Here is the Standard Layout. Everyone will be playing 1st round from the Standard black tees. The 2nd round will be played from the Yellow or Red tees (depending on how you finish it the 1st round - Top 50% go to Yellow / the rest go to Red). 3rd Round will be played in Reverse format - we will have some Red tee positions for the Reverse layout too (for the folks who play the Red tees during the 2nd round); however, most of the tees shown on the Reverse layout will be used for both groups.
