Just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for names for a course? There's not much that defines it. It's kind of open, and a couple trees. Small 7 hole course. Any ideas?

Well, you are not giving us much to go by. Considering you have 10+ churches in Tanner, AL (you did say the course was in Tanner behind a church), maybe Turner Church DGC? If there is some significant land mass or unique street name by the course, you could consider using = Turner "insert street name" DGC.

Some that we had thought of were

The Links
The Meadows
The Haven
Four Oaks Disc Golf Course

There's not much in Tanner either. We're all just drawing a blank!

You should only have 6 holes and a practice basket...thus...

Tanner: A sixpenny coin formerly used in Britain; a sixpence.

You could call it Sixpence at Tanner

Or Leathersmiths...or DoeSkins

If it's that generic, call it

The Lake Creek County State Park Community DGC of Memorial College University School at City Hill Mountain River Valley Camp Resort.

I like Four Oaks

Other ideas -

Lucky Seven DGC

Limestone Disc Golf Course - after the county name.

Hellenic DGC - play on Athens

Megawatt DGC - if you are close the nuclear power plant

Spaceage - or some aeronautical or space reference for closeness to Huntsville.
