PLEASE Notice That you must Pre Reg for this event so that I can have all people who are participating in this ready to go before the day of. I want this to go off as smooth if not smoother than last years event.
When contacting me you must have your tag number available as well.
I will be donating enough discs into the ring of fire so that everyone walks away with a disc but I cant guarantee the condition of the discs so you better make your putt before all the good ones are gone.

Tags will freeze in less than 10 days so make sure you get out there and challenge as many people as you can so that you will give your self the best chance at getting the Overall end of the Year #1 tag. And also start off 2010 as WAFDA's #1 player. And then also be ready to enjoy some great food.

And yes you can still get in on this years tag match Cost is $15 dollars which gets you in for this years tag match as well as giving you a Tag for 2010.

So its never to late to come out and enjoy the benefits of being a member of one of the funnest clubs around.

Must be because TAGS are now FROZEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means no more playing for them what you have is what you use to play this weekend.
To be able to play in the local tag match this weekend you must call me and reserve your spot along with your tag number. And this must be done by friday and the earlier the better as I will be pretty busy friday night and wont have my phone on me.

If you do not have a tag dont worry you can still play this weekend you just have to fork over $5 to help cover the food and cost of the tag. Also you must buy a tag for the following year if you do not finish in the top 4.
This is going to be an exciting tag match again this year so you dont want to miss it.

You can also post your tag numbers on this forum as well as I will check this all week.

Chris, I've got some guys that haven't received there first tag #'s yet !!!!

I think Evan made up some more for 09, we just haven't distributed the tags to members as of now !!!!

Tuesday's "Flip Dubs in the Fort" might be a good time to assign #'s !!! :)

I guess, this coming year we need to encourage the benefits of having a tag #, maybe mulligans or something that benefits the club member !!!!! :cool:

Just run for a board position and Im sure all those ideas will be taken into consideration,

And yes all the people who dont have #'s and are going to be out there tuesday night at the dubs I will do my best to bring you tags as I do have around 5 left to give out.

Club membership is only $10
cost of tag is around $3

membership is hardly considered a "fund" raiser, the only real funds that the club raises is thru mini tournaments and any profit made off of large tournaments, which in turn go to further the sport thru course upgrades, sponsorships and to fund future events, ect.

I wouldn't be opposed to a $5 full membership with tag, membership and most importantly participation is worth more than a few bucks to the association

Players also need to realize that every course in the area (except Tilles) and a few outside the area would not be there if it were not for WAFDA, including all course amenities, i.e. tee-signs, tee-pads, some baskets, practice baskets, ect.

When any local Parks Dept. or pretty much anyone needs anything to do with disc golf, help, course implementation, questions, general info, ect. they contact our association...... google Fort Smith Disc Golf or Arkansas Disc Golf and see what comes up

We as an organized force have also donated over $3000 to the community thru the Ice Bowls and around $1800 to implement Disc Golf in area schools in just this year

keep in mind that anyone without a 09 membership that opts to pay the $15 to play in this also gets a membership for 2010 which includes the tag and entry next year plus other member benefits :)

Update Please!! The suspense is killing me. Who is the number one player in WAFDA for 2009? And who to I need to gun for when I finally get this house finished?
I hate that I missed it, but I was told that sheetrock is more important to my future! :)

Also, what is my new job for next year (board position), was that decided too, or will it be at the meeting Monday. (or is there a meeting monday?)
