there is a Fall Festival on the same day in the park, our Tourney HQ will also serve as a PR and Info booth for the sport to the locals

there will be a variety of food and craft booths, ect., should be fun

This is a relatively new course for us, we are excited to see what the flow, ect. will be like, concrete tee boxes will be done next spring and we will use this info to determine some of the locations

To Pre-Reg and pay on the day of the Event contact Chris and he'll get you set-up, See ya'll on Nov. 7th :D

Absolutely !!!! even though kids at that age cannot comprehend the meaning of "50" !!!! :D

Tourney is coming together great. The best part is that we dont have to do any maintenance to the course. We do need to replace some of the stakes on a few of the holes. Then I also will be making hole seven into an island hole for advanced and pro divisions but that is already lined out for whats in and whats out. I am also going to put a mando on a few of the holes but that will just take a few signs on the actual mando holes. Other than that we should be good on maintenance.

I will be out there some next week taking some suggestions on different ideas to be used for the tourney. I will let you know Roger which days and hopefully you and I can get a round or two in before the tourney and figure out some last minute ideas

So now you just have to bring your A game on the 7th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I will be out there Tonight Wednesday Nov. 4th Im going to try to get out there around 430 or so but I will post if anything changes. I am going to be walking the course and making some decisions on certain changes to a couple holes. So if you want to have your input considered please feel free to come out and play a casual round with me then.

I will also be out there thursday night as well finishing up everything. So you are also welcome to come out then as well and it will probably be around 430 as well.

Roger and Tony please let me know if one of these nights works for you as I know we planned on going out there last thursday night before the monsoon blew in. But I would love to walk this thing with you two as you guys are the ones who play this course the most.

Also we have a WAFDA meeting at the library tonight !!!! hopefully we could discuss everything there !!!

I could probably be at the course by 5:30 or so if needed !!!! I get out of lab around 5:00 !!!

Change of plans I have to be in fayetteville tonight for something important so lets move it to wednesday night and then you and I can discuss the changes tom night at the doubles mini

Also if your going to be around on Sunday there's a COOL super class event in Chester !!!!! the hospitality and sitting on the front porch between rounds is well worth the trip !!!!! :) :D :cool:

Alright I will be out at the course tonight Wednesday Nov 4th around 4:15 or so to play the course and finalize any changes that are going to happen to the course including maybe some changes in tee positions. So if you want to be the first to look at the possible changes please feel free to come along and play a round with Roger Knight and I.

Alright There were some great ideas posted last night. Some that we might be able to utilize and some that might have to wait until next year as they are great shots but much work is needed before that can happen.
Willie I dont know if it is at all possible for Roger to get a hold of your range finder but if so that would be great and then that way I can measure two or three holes that I might be changing.
Also ROGER I will be out on the course tomorow at 3 to lay OB lines on the few parking areas. I will also be posting signs of where to park and where not to park. If you would like to come out and help I would gladly appreciate it. It shouldnt take to long just a few lines here and there. Anyone else that wants to help I will gladly except them as well.

Also I will be running doubles if anyone wants to show up.

Cost will be $10 for AM
$20 for PRO
This will give you your best chance to see how the course is going to play on Saturday.
There will be changes made to our original layout so be prepared for something new.
Tee time will start at 3 and last card will go out at 4:00 SHARP.

I hope to be able to get there Fri. Afternoon if my work will allow it.

To the best of my knowledge, yes, #8 will be bagged & not played (safety from other fairway plus (imo) the hole is stupid) we will have a temp hole set up across the road from #1 (better transition from 18 to 1 also)
for now it is temporary, hopefully the land owner may allow it to go permanent in the future, hole 8 is the only one I don't like, especially since we already have hole 1 as our dink hole, no need for 2 dink holes :p

This is the first day of a beautiful weekend for disc golf in the River Valley!

Everyone come out and enjoy Bell Park in Greenwood, Arkansas' newest disc golf course, in it's inaugural event.
Then hang out and enjoy a Super Class event in Chester on Sunday!

This will make for a great weekend!!

Bell Park was simply, AWESOME !!! Cant wait for #2. Great Job Eads, Evan, Shawn, and every Wafda member who played or helped out. Class act boys.

we had 12 participate in the non-sanctioned "Casual" division, all 1st time tournament players, so we actually had 57 players

Also, $480 raised for our charity, EDGE :D

The scores are up OH-NO !!!!!!!! :(

I was hoping that they might of got lost or something !!!!! :eek:

oh well, Duff seemed to be happy !!!! the good thing about it was the sun still came up the next morning !!!!! :)
