14th annual Scholastic Disc Golf Series 2009

This year's series includes 5 events -- 3 on Sunday and 2 on Saturday (and only one conflict with Steeler games) -- and playing Phillips Park, (where it all began), Knob Hill, Moraine State Park, Schenley Park and Deer Lakes Park.

The fees are still low, and Innova, PFDS and Grip It and Rip It are once again sponsoring.

Put these dates on your calendar, round up your school mates for a team, and keep practicing!

All participants in the EDGE Skill Shot Challenge get a t-shirt and earn patches for each skill level they attain.

Girls and Boys who play 3 of the 5 events are eligible for the Scholastic Disc Golfer of the Year award, but we will use each person's best 4 event finishes to calculate the series overall.

The top 10 players from each school in each division at each event will be used to calculate the team standings. Both girls and boys points count in team competition.

The school earning the most points in the series wins the coveted Pipe and Chains trophy for one year.
