Russellville's Ace Race will be held October 3 at Pleasant View Disc Golf Course. In case you didn't allready hear, the packages will include two putters for the first time. One Pro D plastic and one ESP plastic! Should be an awesome time.

There are lots of people incapable of throwing where they aim. This one guy threw his disc in the water during the ace race last year! He was only 180 feet out! Oh wait. That was me...

The packages are only $25 bucks. It should be a good time. We have one saved for the soldier and Chris Eads said he wanted me to save him one. Let's hope for good weather and some great disc golf!

Players meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. and we will try to tee off around 10:15.

There are still around 11 packages left. We need to get these sold so really try to pimp these tomorrow if I can't make it! Somehow lots of important people died in Russellville at the same time which means that the flower delivery business has just picked up. So Im not sure if ill be able to make it tomorrow to Greenwood.

Im hearing lots of good things and Discraft told Doug that they are making the Ace Race discs just as fast as they can. Hopefully that's a good sign. Im excited and hope to see lots of familiar and lots of new faces!

The schedule looks about like this:

9:00 a.m. sharp-players recieve the Ace Race packages and can go check out all the tee locations. Only Doug knows where they will be until then. The packages will have random weights of both discs. Trading is encouraged :)

9:50- quick players meeting to pass out score cards and go over any rules.

10:00-the 2009 Russellville Ace Race begins!

10:02- I hit my first ace (this hasn't yet been confirmed)

hope to see lots of people out there to enjoy the great weather and beautiful course!

the ace race putter wasn't too bad !!!! but not good enough to put up my Wizard !!!! :)

I guess that's better than last years ace total of "nota one" I must be twice as good as last year !!!! ;)

I will post the scores as soon as I get them from Doug. I had to leave early to go be a clown at a kid's birthday party. I know the winner was Josh Myers with 2 aces and 2 metals. I think Bearded Joe was second with 1 ace and 5 metals. Ill post the full results after my disc golfing trip to washington!
