I should qualify my "I play other and want advanced to play whites" by saying "I sign up for other but always end up playing advanced, and therefore want advanced to play whites."

Thanks for voting. No need to clarify your opinion. It is a good one. I would have to check but I think advanced could play blues and advanced women could play whites. I haven't read any rule forbidding it, but then again I’m still learning. Hopefully we can get enough ladies in the Intermediate Women field so that you’re not even asked to move up. Lori has a league started up and I have been seeing more and more ladies at doubles. Just spread the word and see what happens.

It shouldn't matter how many women sign up. If they want to play INt, let them play INT, even if there is only 1 women in the division. You should never force a women to play up a division. Women should be encouraged to play and should be allowed to play the division they feel they should. One big problem I have noticed lately at PFDS events.

You don't ever NEED 4 for a division. If you want the women to keep coming, let them play where they want, even if it means a 1-person division. Heck you should even add money to the 1-person division so they are even more encouraged to come in the future.

I agree...I've noticed that this is the case for a lot of tournaments. For example, the fairmont open flier states that you need 4 for a division (Except Women and Juniors)

That is a good suggestion and I do agree. I have played in many events that do not require 4 for a division. That does guarantee mixed cards though. I would like everybody who wants to play to play so I will accomondate most requests. Don't mistake my kindness fopr weekness though, because if you would like to make the rules for a tournament. Be the TD. Myself and most of the club would love to see more PDGA events in the Pittsburgh area.

The discs are in and they look great. I will have them availible for purchase at the Deer Lakes CC on Sunday.

Unfortunately we won't be getting any of the NY guys coming down as this is their end of the year doubles weekend which apparently has a ton of money to pay out.

We are getting a few disc golfers signing up early for Knobulus Maximus. This is great. Where are all the open players? Will Jerry Gotcher take this uncontested? The more people that sign up early, the better the prize packages, CTPs, and other stuff will be. If you don't want to sign up on-line. I plan to be at the Moraine Mixer today, and Roll the Deis in OH tomorrow. 9/19 @ Deer Lakes pouring Concrete. 9/20 @ Philips Park for the scholastic series kick off. Also I'm around the Knob Hill course m-f. If you drop me a pm I can meet up if necessary. I also still have a good selection of the Knobulus Maximus stamped discs left. Anybody wanting to donate prizes for CTPs etc. is encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Thank you to KB, Jen, Chrissy, and DB. The pins are set in tournament position for Knobulus. Where are all the players? The Poles, The Olcotts, and all the other PFDSers? I know 2 days of 2 rounds will be exhausting. The pin set for Knobulus is not too brutal though and the Pros get to play the white tees the second round.

Pre-event fundraiser/ raffle disc offer is over. Thank you to everyone that participated. Some of you have pretty good odds at winning the basket. Some unlucky folks have no chance at all since they did not buy any discs. The remaining custom stamped discs will be given out in players packs.

It looks like I will be adding about $250 to the Pro payout and $200 towards the prize payout for the AMs.

Keep signing up. The sooner we fill the smoother Sunday morning will go.
