Apparently, we have a disc golf theft ring going on in southern Maine.

Between the hours of 8:30pm and 7:30am on 8/2-8/3/2009, someone broke into the Pleasant Hill Clubhouse in Scarborough Maine and stole nearly $3000 worth of discs, a mini basket, and disc golf bags.

The perpetrators also took a couple of racks of our lost and found discs, so, be on the lookout for blacked out discs!!!!

All Dragon Disc Golf locations are urging other courses to confiscate blacked out discs. We WILL be confiscating ALL blacked out discs from players, and warning signs will be posted outside of all our clubhouses.

A brand new basket or cash equivalent will given for any information leading to a conviction of the perpetrators.
This makes the 3rd course in the state to get hit in a week and half 1st one was for $500+ in plastic 2nd one for only $25 cash but still now this. It really sucks.

THEIVES APPREHENDED!!

Saco PD, with the cooperation of a couple disc golfers, set up a sting operation and the suspects were our guys. They had among their wares some unique Dragon Disc Golf stamped discs that we knew for a fact hadn't been sold to anyone and were among the stolen merchandise.
