How many did you get and what weights?

I'm waiting for Prime Discs to have them in stock as there are a few other discs I'd like to purchase and I'm just loyal to the Dodge man like that.
I want to get a 135 gram Boss just to see what it feels like. Maybe I should be asking Dave D about this, but I assume the lowest weight that will be allowed in PDGA play with the diameter of the Boss is 150 or 153 grams or something like that.
From the sounds of it, the lighter weights are more durable so I'll be opting for the lightest possible legal weight.

There is no minimum weight, so the could go down to .5g if that was possible.
That said, I did not get any Bosses. I really didn't like the ones with the Masters stamp.
I did want some champ glo cobras, but they were sold out when I got a chance to make an order.

I've got a 153 R-pro boss, for me it's uncontrollable with power, but with little power it sails. I also picked up a Pro Boss (heavy)...it's a crusher!

I received a 152 gram R-Pro Boss from Prime Discs today and I spent a few hours throwing it around and then played a round with it using it liberally to learn how it flies. I also ordered one of the 135 gram super lite Bosses from Hero Discs just to give it a go.
This disc has a great feel to it...no where near as soft as the R-Pro Dart or Aviar. It's almost shiny/glossy in comparison. It's extremely similar to standard Pro plastic as far as feel is concerned. It's the first 150 class disc I've ever thrown where I could actually feel a difference in weight.
I was very surprised by how understable this disc is. This makes the fifth Boss that I have and it is by far the most understable of the bunch. I would actually rate the high speed turn at a -2. It turns like a Groove but it actually fades back given enough height. Throwing side by side with my other Bosses, I didn't achieve any extra distance with any kind of consistency. My 170ish Champion Bosses fly the furthest for me time after time. On a really good day I can probably reach 450 feet...on a really good day with a perfect throw maybe 475 to 500.
One thing that is really fun about watching this disc fly is that you can throw it on a very high angle and because of the light weight it doesn't lose a lot of speed as it climbs. I was able to bomb some super high s-curves that I've never been able to do with other discs. It's probably the most fun I've ever had just watching my throws fly.
That being said, I could not throw the disc with much accuracy when playing with it in a round. I need to learn it a little better but I think my throwing style is better suited to heavier discs. I do have to say though that I love how easily it catches in brush and tends to stay on the outside instead of cutting through to the middle.

I am unable to throw Champion or Star Bosses in any weight for any kind of distance. For me, they are simply a super stable driver that starts to fade immediately on release - even when thrown with exaggerated anhyzer.
However, my 149 R-Pro Boss goes consistently farther than my Wraiths or DX Destroyers. (I would say at least 30 to 50 feet farther.) This is HUGE for me! I am now able to deuce holes with drop in putts - when before I couldn't even get anywhere near the 10 meter circle. The 135gm I have also screams down the fairway. I wouldn't throw it in a headwind, but it works great for wide open holes and uphill drives.
If you cannot already throw 400 feet, you may want to give the R-Pro Boss a try. If you already throw 400 feet ----- I hate you!:D

I picked up a 159g one just for the hell of it, but these discs do bomb! I was throwing about 425ft. with mine, but I had to put alot of hyzer on it. It's fun disc but not something I am going to be putting in the bag for competition. I just like throwing it far.

Isn't it a lot more fun to toss a regular disc 400+ on a golf line? I sure think it is.

..i throw this boss on complete(360) hard hyzer snap...it flies straight, fast as it rises most gigantic, and flips late...the comes out (like a miniature ....ginormous boss shot)...its basically the best flip hyzer disc out currently...........i find on xstep throws like stated above....it flies very smooth far high and glidy....that a boss....just huge and fluffy....i like it............anyway mine is a 161...needs most pull of probably any weight made....i cant wait to throw the 120 tomorrow.......let you know about the rpro xcali's too.........This being said I max out near 400(champ. max boss).....i throw mostly leopards.....hyzer flip plastic.......so i feel i understand this disc out the gate.....It throws and amazing huge anhyzer....that if high enough comes out.......like a total 1st run boss shot.....but much easier and larger scale.......but if it doesnt stay in production...........which i dont think will happen................why make it...............just a tease...........great for the old guys......legends and worlds this year should be carrying these hogs.....lol...(maybe grandmasters......cough......)

I think he said...
I throw my 161 gram R-Pro Boss on a hyzer angle and it flips straight and glides for a long time before fading. It glides very well.
I will be throwing a 120 gram Boss tomorrow that I'm excited to throw.
I will also be throwing some lighter weight Xcalibers made in the R-Pro plastic. I will analyze their flights and report my findings.
I normally throw maximum weight Bosses and max out at a distance of about 400 feet.
My main driver is a leopard which is a hyzer-flip disc, so I feel very comfortable throwing the R-Pro Boss out of the box.
If Innova discontinues this disc it would just be a tease to those who have grown to love it.
If I'm wrong I'm sorry but that's the best I could do.

I've got three... all are 173-175 and have nice dome and cool swirling.
All have offset mini star stamp.
I threw one of them, and it has similar stability of a champ boss with more glide. I can imagine with some "seasoning" it will fly really far.

I've been looking forward to this one pretty much since my first throw with a Champ Boss. Pro is always the fastest, glidiest, and furthest flying plastic and they always mold up domey.
