Team Widye Barry Schultz and a few of us were out a few weeks ago and Barry mentioned he felt the Star was more stable in the lower weights.
He picked a few 168-169gs from me. He was crushin them...!!

Here is my opinion of the Boss stability wise:
Flat or warped Champion (especially 1st run)-least overstable/most understable.
The rest of the Bosses all seem fairly consistent to me with the domiest being the most stable. Star and Champion are pretty similar, but the Star is less affected by the wind and seems to fly a little straighter without as hard of a finish (I'm talking like the last second when the Champion hits the ground and jumps hard).

I finally got to throw my R-Pro Bosses today:
161 and 158, very light wind.
I was very surprised how much resistance to flip on a hyzer line they have.
I was throwing big anny bombs which were going about 35 feet further than my champ bosses (I'm usually around 380-390), I think mainly due to the light weights.
They seem to hold the anhyzer much longer before they fade out.
The rim is firm, but the flight plate is very pliable, like FLX plastic. I actually prefer this plastic to the FLX due to the fact that the rim "felt" like it kept its shape when thrown hard.

Matty, mine (152g) hit the basket on the fly and had a tiny (3/32") divot on the rim. I'd say good durability (not great), in line with the regular Pro plastic.

I would say durability is better than I expected. I'm loving the R-Pro Boss.

Anyone notice any big differences in flight by the weight or color? I have a 154 yellow and a 164 orange coming.

Well this is what I have to say WOW I got two from HERO DISCS with the Japan Open stamp and they are both 150.
I was throwing them last night with a tail wind and they were getting out to about 415-425. There is a basket on the alternate disign of my local course that is 405 and I have never reached it before...yeahyeahyeah, I know, noodle arm. Well I usually come up about 20-30 feet short of the basket, I was passing it easily last night.
RHBH - the disc would do an easy "S", start flat, go right and come back to the middle. I only threw it 6 times with the wind behind me. 4 of the 6 were as described and the other 2 I got the nose up and it didn't "S" and finished a little over stable and shorter, less than 400'.
As for against the wind, I will stay with a STAR BOSS 167 or my trusted MILLENNIUM SOLF's.
I really like the grip of the r-Pro Boss.
Just my feelings

I would say it has to due with how domey the the run was, the boss is only as overstable as the X-cal at low speeds. At highers speeds the boss is very much a more distance bomber (less stable). The boss is my distance driver champion especially when worn in it becomes a 500' foot bomber. While the x-cal is my for sure overstable driver up to about 370 but i've never beat one in for distance. Could go further :)
