It should be noted that the pins will be in the Ironwood layout so it will be good practice for the Ironwood Open.

I'll take that $5. I didn't get to play the course championship last year. But I did beat Goocher at Deer Lakes and Knob Hill. Trying for the trifecta this year.

Congratulations to this year's champions!

Aside from me using the wrong date (2008) on the trophies and bag-tags, I'd say the 2009 Lakeview Course Championship was a huge success! 35 players signed up in the morning which included a handful of players who knew they would not be able to play the second round. Two other club members showed up and paid to play the second round only. On top of that, there was a group of Ohio players practicing the course yesterday and Leroy Jenkins donated $20 toward our efforts! All in all, this year's tournament raised $740.00 for the Ironwood Open!

At the time of this post we have 74 registered players for next week's event. Only 16 spots left, folks! Entries received after today will have to pay an additional $10 late fee. Don't delay.... :)

Grat job with the Lakeview Course Championship Jerry. You set the pace for a great year. You also gave those running the IUP C.C., Deer Lakes C.C., and Knob Hill C.C. some big shoes to fill!
