I gave you what I know. Not sure if it's commerically available yet but the email address is in the contact info. No warpage just lighting effect. Basket is about 2 inches smaller diameter than the new spec for Standard category targets so it got approved for the Basic category.

The photo was made by Homburg who measured the submitted sample. I'm not sure he had it completely tightened up and aligned. He said it didn't have a base so he had to prop it up to check things out.

in, or not in. less ambiguity there, i like it. but, those who are used to 'nubs' will definitely miss them, even if they didnt know it.

The first time their putter skips off the lip 30 feet away, they'll miss them.

Do you think that this target is designed/will be marketed as a target able to be permanently installed? I don't know how well it will hold up to vandalism, but it won't need any aluminum foil to line the bottom before the charcoal is put in.
Regardless, I am glad to see another target manufacturer enter the market. The more competition, the more pressure there is on keeping the price lower, and the lower the price, the easier it will be to install courses. I wish we had as much activity with targets as we have with discs.

I'm not sure fiberglass and resin would stand up to the heat of a barbecue but the smell would be interesting for sure. It does look a bit like a Weber grill.

Could've done without the flaming disc over the name.
It looks as though that's a non-skid rubber lining the top of the pan; perhaps it's supposed to help reduce skips off it? I'd be happy to be rid of the nubs.

I love to get rid of those nubs. Most of my putts are just over the top of the cage and the nubs rejects me alot this would be nice to see.

nubs probably save more strokes on average than give. most would be surprised how good they are.
