Hello all - I will be visiting the Austin area from 2/17 to 2/23 and wanted some opinions on the best courses in the area. Any leagues during the week nights? Unfortunately I can't play over the weekend or I would hit up the tourney south of town.

Best courses:
Manor - 20 minutes east of town
Williamson County DG Course (Wilco) - listed as in Leander, TX 20 minutes north of downtown
Kyle - Steeplechase - 20 minutes south
Temple has two good courses 60 minutes north
Pease is fun, but boxes are crap.

Not sure about minis. I think they have doubles at Mary Moore Seawright on Fridays. My advice is stay far far away from there though.

Also, there is a mini or two in Round Rock. I think it is on Wednesday.

Pease Park is popular and the dirt tee boxes/ruts definitely show it.

Double R has a mini tournament at Old Settlers Park on Wednesday evening.
