no this is a tournament style bag tag challenge so that means 3 people is what it takes to make a divisions. if it was one division what incentive is there for the ams to buy a tag?

not 100% sure just yet but I would imagine it going something like this. tag gets you in the tournament then all tags are put in a box. once the tournament is over the tags will be awarded by score. that is just my thoughts still need to work out all details with edman. not sure if we are keeping the tags separate by division.

How do I get a tag? I want to join the club.

$30 gets you a tag and $25 will get you a membership.


$30 breaks down as
$15 to tag tournament
$10 goes to concrete fund.
$5 pays for Tag

$25 membership breaks down as
$10 for membership
$10 for shirt
$5 for member tag

include a self adress envelope for return of tag or let us know what tournament you will be at next or better yet I will find out who is going to SADC ice bowl and try and send some.

The tag gets you in the tourney. We'll payout the top 1/3 by each division. Doesn't matter what # you have but we'll have to record there # when they sign-up in case of ties. Tags will be re-distributed by total score regardless of division. Lowest score gets 1 highest score gets 50. So once your in the tourney your not playing for tags, you'll get a tag back based on finish.

I'd like a tag too. Maybe I'll drop by today and hope there are some left at The Rock.

Also, that's a Worlds Biggest weekend. I don't know if that means you can get special Millenium Discs in conjunction with this. Either way, sounds like a blast.

dont foget you have to have a tag to play in the tournment. tag = entry. we have about 8-10 tags left I think

Dang that is the same day as the SA Bud Open.

Poor planning. We looked at EVERY calendar available @ the time & announced the only reasonable OPEN weekend. Sorry it missed 3rd coasts radar. With so many people running so many events, there's bound to be overlap. Seems like in this economy, we'd scale back & support each other better, but it seems everyone has to have a piece of the pie - regardless of how small that makes each piece.

yep we picked that date prior to 3rd coast getting their schedule out. dang it as I wanted to play the mccalin tournament. oh well always next year.

yes we will be taking membership sign ups and if we have any tags left then we will sell them as well. The tags are your entry in to the tournament on May 2.

if you are serious about the burgers. then we need folks to sign up for the bread, cheese, mustard, ketchup, chips, beer, charcoal and whatever else we want to eat after the second round..

& obviously I was joking about needing 100 burgers you dork. There's a 50 player max for Saturday, so I wouldn't think we'd need more than 50 burgers. Sides & trimmings sound like the call to order for the rest of you - cheeze, katsup, tomatoes, pickles, chips & dip, etc.

So Lala posted that we won't have any pavillion, but i guess that's during the day while we are playing right? and we're counting on have access to one of them (hopefully by #13) by the time we're done playing?

Like we mentioned before the club will be buying the meat and the members will be bringing the side dishes. What can everybody else bring so we know what meat to buy?

So we are doing burgers for the dinner afterwards at the pavillion on #13. Bring the sides and whatever treats we might enjoy, wonder if ET will bring those delicious deserts that we ususally get? From what I understand we don't need to worry about the burger fixins it's included.
Looks like the weather will hold so with 5-6 tags left I'm sure well sell them all before the tourney, so don't be skeered. If you can't make it and have a tag, keep it as we will still be playing for them all year. We're going to do another tourney in the fall sometime. See you tomorrow morning.

OK kids, here's a few details for Saturday - a few tags will available for purchase in the am

9:00-9:45 late sign up (come early to help course set up if you can).
10:15 mandatory players meeting
10:30 tee off round 1 (Wilco - rivery if Wilco is closed)
1:45-2:45 lunch break (drive to OSP)
3:00 tee off round 2. (OSP 21 holes )
6:15 head to virge rabb pavilion for awards and powling.


Payout will be by division & tags will be redistributed by overall lowest score. We've got some pretty sweet merch to payout the ams with & Pro divisions will be paid in cash. The cabinet voted last night to make a $250 ace pot available to current club members - not current, no ace $. If more than one club member aces, the ace $ will be split.

Payout, powling, & potluck @ the RABB pavilion following the 2nd round. The club will be providing burgers, fixin's & chips & salsa w/gauc, ya'll bring sides & snacks - John E thanx for the coals. Can't make the challenge? Keep you tag til Fall when we do this again & come out for food & polling when you can make it.
