Would it be possible to get the latest PDGA roster of players, both current members and past members in some kind of file that I can use to search. Someone did this for us several months ago when the Member database was down.
I'd like to get this file every quarter. Could it be posted somewhere here for everyone to download?
Thanks in advance.

Seeing that the PDGA pays for the ratings work to be done, I can't see THEM supplying anything for anyone to download.
The guy in your other thread made alot of sense for you to do it yourself using a little bit of effort, but then YOU can maintain it and manipulate it to fit your needs.
Just a thought.

Actually, it's pretty easy to get a spreadsheet with an updated list of members with ratings for your area. Just run an event or contact the TD of one that was just run in your area. The PDGA sends an Excel file to TDs right before their event that includes both current and non-current players in the region.

Isn't that pretty much what I just said? - Except you are making it way to easy for the guy. :D

However, occasionally the TD will not recieve the file from the PDGA. Fortunately we were able to track down a current list in time for the event, but it would be nice if this information was available online.
I'd also request this so that I could setup my excel file to automatically import the latest data and save me the extra few clicks each time.

I agree. I definitely need to do this. I have the file I just need to add the ability to have it automatically update the current ratings when they are posted. I already have the code pull the player name and current rating listed in my database file into a spreadsheet for calculations...the only problem is just keeping the current rating in the database updated from the PDGA website.
It would be REALLY cool if the PDGA provided a service (for a small fee or for free) that would allow registered PDGA players to extract this information automatically, either player by player or just by downloading a list that has everyone in it with their last known rating or current rating.
