Here's the latest from the studios of Disc Golf Live video magazine, bringing DG to TV one community at a time...
Episode 27 of Disc Golf Live video magazine is in the hands of our broadcast partners and public access station programming managers across the country. As always, DVD copies of DGL are FREE for those who wish to submit the show to their local access station for broadcast. There are hundreds of public access channels across the US and at most all it takes at most is a local resident to submit the program, a little paperwork and a few minutes of legwork. Prominent locations where someone has yet to step forward include Seattle, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Of course, we welcome stations of all sizes. Every community should have some DG on TV. Check www.discgolflive.com (http://www.discgolflive.com) for more information.
This episode, titled North and South, is centered in the Carolinas, with a side-trip to Georgia along the way. From Raleigh comes Kris Henselers piece on the North Carolina Flying Disc Championships, and from Rock Hill comes a sampling of Billy Crumps Clash @ Winthrop Gold DVD. And Johnny B checks in with a tale highlighting the third and latest course at the International Disc Golf Center in Georgia. Book-ending these goodies is our own coverage of the putting finals at the 08 United States Disc Golf Championship. Thanks to Innova, the 09 Memorial, and the PDGA for supporting DGL.
Were already at work on our next episode, including some of the action from 08 Vibram Open. If youve got something youd like to share with our community, let me know. DGL is a great way to promote your local club, courses, personalities, and events. DGL is also available for home delivery and in wholesale quantities for player packages, CTPs, and retail sales.
