The course is both beautiful and challenging. It's only a 1 hour drive from Cranberry. Best of all, the people there are the greatest and they run a first class tournament!

Steubenville Ohio is the place to be this saturday for the Beatty Park Ice Bowl. For an entry fee of $10 + a canned food donation, you'll play a beautiful and challenging course and get a free lunch after the round at the famous Spot Bar. TD Bill Rohrey has informed me that he has great prizes for the prize raffle. I hope to see you there.

It was a very cold, calm, clear day at beautiful Beatty Park. There was not much snow on the ground, but some fairways were icy, especially #14. The uphill drive there would land and then slide back down, that's winter golf.
Lunch was delicious! It included fried chicken, Ed's famous chile, a sandwich ring, macaroni salad, and dessert.
Raffle prizes included Penguins tickets, Nailers tickets, a turkey fryer, and numerous gift cards, sweatshirts, teeshirts, discs, and hats.
Ed, Bill, Jonda, Jim, and Brenda hosted a fantastic event and they promise that next year it will be even bigger and better! Don't miss it!
