So who do you think is gonna be contending for rookie of the year for 09'.

I already know Big Jerm is gonna be a very strong contender obviously, maybe Rusco if he turns Pro next year? I really don't know of any of the up and comers.

Jerm is definitly the early favorite.

Koling is the favorite, without a doubt. But anybody can emerge out of nowhere. What about Braedon Simmonds? 986 rated, the question is whether or not he'll play many tournaments. He only played four in 2008.

Maybe Pat Burke can get his game going. He got his first Open win in a C-Tier the other week and was a top 10 guy at Am Worlds this year. Rusco is a good guy to put in the mix if he makes the jump, he's one of two guys to finish top 10 in both Am Worlds and Am Nats. The other guy is Ryan Herzog but I don't know if he's jumping to Open.
