I got a call from both Kurt and Josh last week about tournament dates for a tourny in May in Indiana and The Hunt in September.

It's easier to respond to you both with an answer that as long as PFDS and IDLA dates don't conflict with each other, they have blanket approval. Due to geographic separation, there is no overlap with PDGA tournaments in central or eastern PA. My only other recommendation would be that PFDS organizers may want to be sensitive to other sanctioned events in West Virginia or Ohio, which may draw away potential attendees.

Thought this would be an appropriate place to let everyone know that as of 11/29/2008, the baskets have been removed from IUP College Lodge for the season. ETA for reinstallation--early April '09.

So that means the Indiana Open is back after hosting the PA State Disc Golf Championships for the past two years. So mark your calendars now for Saturday May 9th. A PDGA Sactioned B-tier is coming back to The Lodge. No more crueling two day event, just two rounds. Pros/Advanced from blue tees both rounds and Intermediate and others white tees both rounds. There will be a mix between A and B pins. As always, the course will look the best it can with the help of IDLA's best branch dragger Mike D. :D
