This is gonna be a good one, so come on up and give it a go Fort Smith.

Memorial Park Open presented by Lucky Shot
Non-Sanctioned
1-Day

When: Sunday, September 21st 2008
Where: Memorial Park
Bentonville, AR
Format: Two 18 hole rounds
Directions: from I-540, take Hwy 72/Central Ave. exit and go west, go 1-2 miles and turn right on S St., go to 2nd entrance and look for signs and tent.

Saturday night doubles tee from 5PM - 6PM, $10 per team. Pro and Am divisions.

This tournament is to demonstrate to Bentonville Parks & Rec. how a course could work at Memorial Park. Come help us show them what disc golf, and disc golfers are all about, through good sportsmanship and enthusiasm for new courses.

Thanks to Randal Reisner for helping with this preliminary course design to be used at the tournament. Hopefully through feedback by all players we can assure a solid course design, if and when Bentonville decides to install a permanent course at Memorial Park.

For help with directions call: Zach Rogers 479-283-3811 or Randal Reisner 479-787-0400.

Hey, all of you lurkers on this board.....

this park has great potential to make a permanent course on, it's very well maintained and has some very good land

more courses= more players, more events, more "fun rec" rounds, more retailers carrying plastic, ect. ect.

even if you haven't seen the land or played the very fun event that Lucky Shot provided this last week-end.....

take my word for it

take a few minutes, send an e-mail to the mayor of Bentonville at [email protected]

let him know how you love the sport and how you'd love to see a permanent course at Memorial Park.......

Thanks!! :)

and oh yeah.........

Great Shooting Eads

he DOMINATED so well, I could just kick back and not worry about Fort Smith's performance (as my score showed)

Yeah I gotta say thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. Huge thanks to Randal, I wouldn't have been able to do this one without his help.

Also, all of the guys who let me use their baskets for the weekend.

Randal
Keldog
Heath
Zach A.
Corey
Wookie
Kyle
Dasun
and Evan & WAFDA for chipping in some ring of fire goodies, and also letting me use his Scorepointe board.

Blake Bailey won the ace pot of $70 with apparently a thumber that hit the ground and bounced into the basket. Pretty sick.

Chris Eads shot a ridiculous 2nd round of -12, that is super hot and the next nearest score to that all day was an -8 and two -7's, I mean he beat him and Asbury's dubs score from the night before. Good job Eads, bagger!

Again thanks to all, make sure and be there for Lucky Shot's next event, the Razorback Classic which will be Sunday October 19th, with dubs the night before. After that also make sure to check out the Donkey Run at JB Hunt park on November 1st.
