I am interested in knowing how other clubs payout for their weekly doubles? Since our club is small, I try to be a little more generous hoping that the more happy people, the more people that might come back to play again. I also give away the CASH! This/our payout scale has been based on a $4 entry fee.

Thanks for all the help!

Our random draw double league also is $4 we have a payout chart (http://www.madcitydisc.org/Sidemenu/Payouts.shtml) we use that is good for up to 30 players. We are talking about implementing a new payout (http://www.madcitydisc.org/Sidemenu/payout.shtml) that would take $1 out of each $4 entry to go towards our clubs Basket fund.

I love the first line of your payout tables. Probably because I can relate to it. Not so much recently but it has happened before.

CCR has been running a pretty successful Pro/Am random draw doubles for a number of years. Entry fee is $4.00, plus $1 for the ace pool.

I pay out 100% of the entrance fees, but we pay out in merchandise/funny money. Top third of the field gets paid, so depends how many we have show up. I try to keep first place in the $20 range(per player, $40 for the team), so they can buy anything in the tubs (dyed Star is $20), and work it so that last place gets at least $8(again per player), which is DX plastic.

We try to run is as an outreach to non-club members, so we tend to get a lot of the "casual" players for our "Am" field. Helps promote the club, and also helps them learn how to play better being paired with a pro.

As far as keeping $1 from the entrance fees, we do the 100% payout, but we sell discs at MSRP on Doubles night. Our "profit" is the difference between our wholesale price and the retail price. I've not had many complaints, because even last cash gets double thier money.
