Brian Schweberger shot a 39 this morning and has been unofficially rated 1107.

As the TD for this event, I assure you this score is SICK and the ratings are entered correctly.

insane!!!!

same style of course as darkside though- very demanding fairways with brutal rough- those are the ones which yield the big numbers.

looks like avery had the #2 round ever in that bracket today too.

Chuck is correct. The morning round (and Schweberger's 1107 round) was shot on mixed pins at Buckhorn, and the afternoon round was at Kentwood.

Lost in the shuffle is that Michael Johansen shot a 37 at Kentwood - one stroke from perfection! (and a 1074-rated round in itself)

Mixed tees actually.

There are only set of pins and 2 sets of tees. A lot of the longs are great and some are not as good.

JJ and I decided to play an "all star layout" and play the best tee pad on every hole regardless of the layout that hole was on.

I figured someone may shoot a 44 and that 46 or 47 would be good. 39 is just.....

Wow.

Oh and he missed the SHORTEST hole on the course AND a thumber hole!!

Hot Rounds: It's in the air today. Here are two more rounds that were so good they just barely missed making the top 10 for their SSA category. "Old man" David Greenwell shoots a 40 for a 1083 on a course around 47 SSA.

Jared Pennington shoots a 44 on a course around 53 SSA for a 1085 rating.

Will BS's round be officially over 1100?

cgkdisc

BS is very likely to have that round over 1100 and the other one that's close is Orum's 41 at Worlds. Got to wait and see. We're still processing TD reports now and Gentry is setting up all of the virtual pools for Worlds which is a major step before processing.

Matty shot 41 at Albion but it was hard to tell what the SSA for that course was going to be because pool shuffling messed up the unofficial online calcs.

I was actually asking about the "BS" round.

Sad thing is we are talking about the round that I started the topic on and from a tournament I ran.

Man that was a brain fart.

Maybe I did just enough shooting a 55 to bump him over the 1100 mark! :D

Worst round of my life with some fun luck.
