A Swirl-acrifice?

I don't think it was a swirl... it looked like it was a white disc when he launched it into the woods by hole 1. I didn't think he could throw a tomahawk that far!

It was a nerve wracking final 9... I thought it might be all over when we saw his forehand go way down in that ravine on hole 8 but somehow he pulled it out! We are all very proud :)

We want pictures! We want a DVD! We want ESPN's Sportscenter! This global headline is making a lot of people proud!

1st off Congrats to Schick on his 1st NT victory.........Second congrats to Discraft on a great showing in C-Bus..........And last but not least I may be some sort of a lucky charm in the Open division at the BHMO.........Last year I played the 1st round with Feldberg who went on to win the tournament and this year I played my 1st round with Schick who went on to win the tournament.........So it looks like if your over 1000 rated and you play with me during the 1st round of the BHMO you might just go on to win it!!!

Congrats again to the Schickster.........It could not have gone to a nicer guy!!!

As for the round rating, I seem to think it's a bit inflated personally although it was my best round ever on that side of the **** with the worst conditions I have seen there. It really depended more on where you started on the course and I think the first three or four groups got a bit lucky due to the bad weather moving through. Some of the toughest holes (14,15, 17, & 1) with OB we probably had less wind than others. We still had some tough winds though, Barry was right in front of our group and took a 9 on hole one so believe me when I say the holes were still playing tough! I guess that is just golf though, I have had it go the other way for sure! Gotta love the Force and Surge...that is all I threw all weekend! I also owe the win to Matt Blakely for finding my disc in the final nine after a second shot on the 7th hole went about 100 feet off the fairway in a death zone!
