Just some interesting information:
Last night, on www.DiscGolfersR.us (http://www.DiscGolfersR.us), I put out an informal online survey that included a question about how many rounds disc golfers play in a year.
Among the 330 respondents who have answered that question so far, the mean (average) is 160 rounds and both the median and the mode are 100.
Anyone else sitting on numbers of this sort? Sound like numbers you've heard before?

I play 5 to 6 rounds per week not including the Shasta Series at 8 events 2 rounds each, and the Norcal Series 7 events at 4 rounds each
That's about 310 to 360 rounds or almost a round a day:
335 rounds per year average, even though I don't actually play every day (but almost, he he)..... :D
I gradually reached to this level over the past 6 years. It just about right, and I wouldn't change a thing.
It's in my blood............................................. ........

The average PDGA member who has played at least one rated round in a year averages 15 rated rounds in a year. So that's maybe 5-6 events per year.

Rounds in a year... geez... I'd say I play on average 12-14 rounds per week. Lets say 13... So yeah, over 650 rounds each year sounds about right. Additionally this year I've put in at least 3 hours of field work each week, regardless of weather.

I average around 3-4 days a week of playing with some of the days including 2 rounds especially with tourneys and then I do 6 hours a week of putting so I would say 260 rounds of golf and 312 hours of putting in one year.

Good grief, I am jealous of most of you guys. I get out and play probably an average of 2 rounds a week. But that is a very up and down number. Almost never get to play during the week. I probably play every-other weekend, but when I do get to play, I often get in 2-5 rounds. So I'd say ~100/year.
But the upside is that that 100/year is probably spread across 30-40 different courses across at least 10 states. I know last year, I got to play golf in VA, MD, PA, CA, TX, NC, WV, MS, LA, SC, NM and probably another state or two that are not coming to mind right now. So there is a wide cross-section of different course types and people, and the variety helps.
I really wish I had a local course I could hit up every morning or evening, but not in this season of life... maybe some day.
