As some of you may already know, Charlie Bauersfield was diagnosed with an aggressive strain of lymphoma in March. Charlie's fight is just as aggressive. He has the heart of a lion, and will give no quarter. Here is a link to a recent story from the Olathe News.

If you have ever talked with Charlie or played a round of golf with him, then you know what an inspriation he is.

He has played in Lincoln in the past and I've talked to him at the Friz. What a guy. Puts your petty complaints into perspective.

Charlie is a true gentleman with a heart of gold. And Charlie's tough...tough as they come. A round of golf with Charlie is always a rewarding experience...as he has his own unique ways of sharing his perspectives that always add an interesting twist. Go Charlie!! We'll tee it up soon!!

Charlie was such an inspiration with the way he went about challenging life and disc golf in particular and making it work at a high level. The fact he made it thru the Highbridge courses at the Mid-Nationals was a testament to his tenacity and spirit as a true gamer. R.I.P.
