Anyone have a table for payouts of doubles? 30+...

Some complaints that we are not paying out enough spots & I would like to take a look at something else for comparision. We try to keep the payouts to even $10s so the pair can split it. I am not that interested in carrying around a box of change to cash people out.

Use the PDGA calculator that you can download. You still pay as many team places as what it indicates for singles and you can manually adjust the calculated payouts to even numbers for easier splitting.

I was ahead of you on that last night. However, you cannot turn it below 40%. Unless you want to PM and tell me how. :)

how do you (or others) handle payout of lone wolf player if they cash? they didnt pay double the entry (or the normal amount for 2) so they shouldn't get the normal payout of a doubles team correct?

Different clubs handle it differently. If you are Lone Wolf, Hollywood, Cali, etc the club covers the other $5 and that person gets a full payout.

Everywhere I have played doubles the wildman/lone wolf/cali/etc gets paid a full share if they cash & doesn't have to pay twice. It's luck of the draw & you dont get an extra shot from every lie. Usually only 2 per hole. I think 30% is a good place to stop paying out. Carrying change shouldn't be a problem for the TD, even if the winning team gets say $67 to split, pay them $67 & they can work it out with themselves. TD responsibilty is to pay out the team, not split it.
