April 26th the new U of A Disc Golf Club and Liz Cornish are throwing a fund raiser disc golf tournament on the Old Main Lawn on the east side of campus. $12 entry fee for all divisions. Payout will be with gift certificates and donated plastic. Ella's resteraunt will be proving free lunch!!!!! Players meeting is at 9am in front of the Inn at Carnall Hall on the corner of Maple and Arkansas. There will be 18 holes. I am still looking for a couple more baskets if anyone wants to help PM DaWookie.

On August 29, 2008 University of Arkansas student Liz Cornish will attempt to summit Mt. Rainier. Her climb is a part of Backpacker Magazine's Summit for Someone, a climb series to raise money in support of Big City Mountaineers, a national non-profit that provides recreational mentoring experiences to under-resourced urban youth.
