This guy Seth was on a 48 hour contest to make a 7 minute documentary.
His Genre was sports and the theme change.
It sounds pretty cool but I cant view it!
I downloaded the quick time again, but it still wont view.
I think his website is CkAproductions.com

Worked on this end. It was interesting and well done. I liked seeing how the discs were actually made using the molds, etc.
I emailed the guys and told them they should submit the piece to current.com and it might end up on tv if enough votes are cast on the site.

Has anyone ever seen the TV Show "How Its Made"? They need to show a disc making facility on that show!

Awesome idea... love that show and that would be sweet! That was actually one of the cooler things about the video for me too... getting to see into the factory

I too have been thinking about writing to see about having it on the show.
If enough people write in they will have to put it on!
Lets get on it!
This is a link top a forum for Science Channel which is a part of Discovery!

Unfortunately, I have researched this show a little bit and it seems all of the companies participating in this show are Canadian, and to my knowledge, there are no Canadian Disc Manufacturer's.
Speaking of Canada....
Did you all know that originally it was supposed to be named CND?
Yeah, legend has it that 2 yukers stood at the border and looked north and breathed its beauty. After several minutes of breathtaking visions, the one yuke said to the other "What do we call it, ay?"
(drum roll please)....
The other says "How about C ay? N ay? D ay?"... and it was transcribed as C a n a d a
groan......
Back to the subject,
In my opinion, the documentary looked great and was edited well, with good nat sounds, sound bites, video, and history all inclusive.
I would definitely look for avenues to have it published via televesion stations, etc.
I've seen poor video make IFC (Independent Film Channel, channel 550 for those of you with DirectTV) channel before. This would kick some of their short documentaries in the butt.
Nice work Seth..
