I heard on PDGA radio that you do 200 putts per day and you normally do not putt outside of 28ft.
First, how do you not get bored during practice? if i am not putting well, i tend to get sidetracked and just end up wasting time. is there a game you play or a mentality you have?
Also, since you do not practice outside of 28ft, what and how do you practice for shots outside of 28ft?
thank you for youe time and tips.

I can get a liTTle boring, but if I want to have a beTTer chance of winning I have to put in the puTTng time. If your mechanics for 28 footers is is solid the longer puTTs will fall with just a liTTle more pop in the stroke.
When I get bored I will work on sidearm puTTs, Turbo puTTs, even mess around with some lefty puTTing(which has goTTen preTTy good).

I wondered that question too after he said it during our recording but never got to ask him about it. All I can think of is that it's either all the room he has in his yard or it's one step inside of 10-meters.
One more clinic from Mr. Schweberger this week, then it's on to a series from Sir David Feldberg.

"Putting Percentages game"
I dont' want to step on any mullet toes as I realize these questions were directed to cheeseburger, but I thought I would share the percentage game I play when putting to keep my interest and focus. I have been playing this same simple game for 8 years now and it still doesn't get the slightest bit boring.
I start by marking several distances in a straight line from the basket about 3 to 5 feet apart. The first line should be close enough where you RARELY miss (10ft or so. When you measure 10ft, it looks like a drop in).
So the point of the game is to try to advance to the farthest line possible based on hitting a certain percantage of putts from your previous round. I have been going for 100% for a while now which means that you advance to the next further line by making all of your putts (I use anywhere between 2 and 10 putters). You also move down based on missing putts the previous round.
I will explain with an example where I am using 4 putters and going for 100%
- If I make 4/4, I move 1 line further.
- If I make 3/4, I try again from the same line.
- If I make 2/4, I move 1 line closer.
- If I make 1/4, I move 2 lines closer.
- If I make 0/4, I start over at the closest line.
The nice thing about this game is that you choose the percentage you would like to work on, then the game determines the distance you need to practice to inrease the distance that you are able to shoot that percantage from. It can be adapted to any percentage you want to work on. When I practice jump putts, I will go for 50% and that will allow me to practice further putts.
I have been practice putting rather religously everyday for about 20min when I come home for my lunch break for at least 5 months now. The season is still young, but I am already seeing an improvement in my consistancy inside the circle.

Original mold was so stable that you'd better have your legs spread if you were going to hold one out away from your body. Otherwise, you might fall over! ;)

A lot of folks in town who didn't know about DG probably will soon. That's the way its been here and other places the show plays.

the difference is I'm not PUBLISHING these stupid grammar errors.
"Grammatical" is the adjective for which you are looking. "Grammar" is a noun.

*sighs*
It's the same idea as someone saying "that's slander" on a message board and then people say "no it's libel b/c slander is spoken."
This has gone to the supreme court. Message boards and email represent the spoken language of that individual. Libel only applies to things PUBLISHED in a magazine or website article, etc.
There is a big difference beyond the basics of slander and libel. Slander is much easier to prove than libel b/c with libel the prosecution / plaintiff has to prove malicious intent.

I have not been in the blog writing mood, I will get back into it. Not many people responded to it when I was doing it. I will get the bug again and hit it strong again.

Good.
I enjoy reading it and read every entry *I know I'm not alone in that) and I love picking peoples brains. Just keep up the style like you did with the clash and it will be a success.
Plus I really wanna read what you have to say about my event this weekend after its done ;)

YEAH SCHWEB!!!.... 1100+!!!!
crazy round! how do you feel it compares to either rounds you shot @ renny or ho's nest during the clash? ratings aside since the short/long courses rate slightly differently... did it feel like it was that much of a higher rated round to you?
also (and I think i've asked you this)... are you going to worlds?!... like to see you tear it up out there!
