Toughest new course I've played since playing the Port Authur courses back in 95. If you come be prepared to take a beating from the course if you get out of the fairways which you will.

that'd be the it. It's supposedly not open yet according to the Park Rangers but I've played it twice already. Park closes at 7:30 and then they lock the gates and if they catch you in the park they'll give a trespassing citation. No public display of alcohol was the other warning. So watch it out there cuz they said they'd be patroling the park.

No public display of alcohol....so if its wrapped in a koozie or paper bag its not on display according to Ranger. No Glass containers of any kind. As for Official opening they said 2-3 weeks so they can finish clearing brush piles and putting cable through the park hedges along the road.

They were allowing folks to play the course. Now they will make you leave and they are also putting a sign by hole one letting folks know the course is closed.

There are a few more bridges, steps, and misc. work that will be going on for the next few weeks. Once that is finished it will be open.

wow some good holes out there nice design. just way to much posion ivy in the fairways for me. am tee boxes appear to be very short, confusion on where to go after #6 and #15 .. heck after 15 we were giving up and were heading towards the covered tennis courts when I saw some concrete droppings and followed those to # 16 tee. :D also take a right off 290 onto Loop 212 / 973
