I just heard from a friend of mine that the city approved white rock creek course (flag pole hill creek bottoms). he lives 300 feet away, so was very excited. i didnt get any details, just a txt msg... he is in the homeowner's association in that neighborhood...so maybe that is where he heard about it. he doesn't read these boards.

anyone else hear or know anything about this?

yes, this course has been approved. Dirk, Gary and Steve are doing some tweeking to the layout we played with the temporary baskets. I don't have a timeline yet, but will post it as soon as I find out.

There are a few layout questions that the parks dept needs to answer, but the general layouts have been roughed in. It will be longer, tighter, and have more water in play than before.

Two tees and two pin locations on almost every hole.

Didn't we play a MaceMan event on the flats SEVERAL years ago? Seems like i remember this very conversation/question 5 years ago.

Any chance of having an Eric B. Hill memorial somewhere on the course or name?
