you're kidding! the way the board is now, i can't see him lasting more than 75 minutes. and likely he will try to make an immediate point, so i'm going to go with 7.5 minutes.

Now you're giving the moderators too much credit. You are probably correct, his offense will occur within 7.5 minutes, but it will take another 3 hours and 52 minutes to take action (pretty fast all things considered). BTW - the missing thirty seconds is the time it will take Doot to run down to the coke machine. :D

you know people will be reporting his posts the instant he hits submit. he cant win in this game. there have been some mighty offensive posts made recently that disappeared after they were reported - but the poster has not been probed or banned.
i am not sure what happens if Member C tries to report Member A's post, but it has already been reported by Member B. seems like member C has a) no way to register his view and make a report, and b) no way to know the outcome of the case.
i hope mikey shows up and is as polite as the rest of us. he will last a long time that way.

I agree with the above quote, but to make it fun, I say that we all hit the 'notify moderator' button the instant that Mike post, no matter what he post, just to annoy the moderator and 'overfill' his in basket. :o:D:D

Is it somewhat ironic that Mikey returns on Valentine's Day? I hope he does, 'cause without him this place is very boring, unless you like umpteen MTL or bring back the RAM threads. Boring!

Look out for the dreaded infraction:
"Abuse of Notify Moderator Function"
That will get you suspension.
I predict Mike will not post for a few days.
Newlywed, Valentines, Upcoming Pensacola FL TD gig,
Course redesign and many other distractions
will keep him busy.
BTW Mikey's agenda is NOT hidden.
It could be the blinders some of you are wearing.

there have been some mighty offensive posts made recently that disappeared after they were reported - but the poster has not been probed or banned.
That's because these posts were reported by message board users, but were judged by a moderator to be borderline infractions and only a warning was given. When responding to a user complaint, moderators have always had the freedom to decide that the post was not an egregious violation of message board rules, and issue a warning. Clearly, these were not 'mighty offensive' posts.
but to make it fun, I say that we all hit the 'notify moderator' button the instant that Mike post, no matter what he post, just to annoy the moderator and 'overfill' his in basket.
Frivilous notifications of posts which aren't even close to rules violations waste valuable volunteer time and may prevent legitimate message board rules violations from being attended to in a timely manner. Users who have persisted in such have been warned, placed on probation, and had their accounts suspended for continuing to do so.
Look out for the dreaded new CD inspired infraction: "Abuse of Notify Moderator Function"
This is neither a new infraction nor inspired by the current Communications Director. Users under the prior Communications Director and since day one were warned, placed on probation and had their accounts suspended for abusing the notify moderator function.

That's some [censored] if I've ever seen it. I think the fact that the individual in question was a former BOD member had more to do with it. What is that stuff spraying across your ignorance Jeffrey?

This sounds like a personal attack or a threat to me. You need to send yourself a warning letter and then for the second offense, place yourself on probation.
As Lance said, this is just hogwash.
I'm sorry, is hogwash a banned word.

If he could just make those points without all the name calling, he would stick around and be able to make all his points.

It was an interesting 2 1/2 months.
Wow, our former senator gets
convicted on 11 of 16 counts,
Was it the 90 grand in the freezer?
We may never know.
Our newly elected state coordinator
gets another 1 year suspension.
Was it for depicting a former BoD
as a jolly purple dinosaur?
We may never know.

This is complete BULL.
he didn't say anything that would have been worthy of a 1 year suspension and I have heard many on here say worse but since they are "in" with the mods and higher ups they have nothing done to them.
Brian Hoieniger is a good example as he would often go off on tirades (that we supposedly paid to fix) yet when I had reported him nothing was ever done.

FWIW I received an E-mail stating that it is the current policy not to discuss individual decisions of the sort with the members.
I guess we will find out in a year.............well I may find out in a month at SNPC.
Maybe these things just upset me because it doesn't seem like a true infraction occured and I would assume the judging isn't all done with a blindfold and some mods may be biased when accessing the situation.

It seems that it is the PDGA policy not to discuss or address any issues that would shed a bad light on the org. These issues need to be addressed. i.e. DUESLER. Jeez....
Where is the post that was reported? I'm wondering if I read it yesterday.

No way in the world he is treated the same as others when he has Jeff reviewing his posts.
Those guys are like mortal enemies and it seems Jeff likes to dodge questions then find a reason to suspend someone he disagrees with.
Pretty sad but about the usual around these parts.

At least now when you google him there isn't as much of a connection between him and the PDGA........................mainly because you have to go 5 pages deep to get past the racial allegations and find a PDGA reference.

Matt Hall,
The PDGA DISCussion Board moderation team consists of Larry Kruse, Juliana Korver, & myself who make decisions on posts reported by message board users, with Executive Director Brian Graham hearing appeals.
Do we need yet another review on how the system works? For a user to receive PDGA DISCussion Board probation or suspension, a post must first be reported by a message board user; then the moderator has to decide whether it breaks message board rules, and the Executive Director has to uphold the appeal. Over the last several years, approximately one reported post per every ten made by message board users to the moderators is deemed to break message board rules, and then the appeal must be still upheld by the Communications Director or Executive Director.
I don't know why you insist on singling me out on moderator decisions which I may have had absolutely zero to do with. But it's pretty sad and definitely NOT appreciated in the slightest.

Let's just say I have a hunch it wasn't JK and Larry has been busy on our local board with many calling for him to be suspended for "personal attacks".
It may not be appreciated but just like when you choose not to answer if the PDGA paid for your travel to worlds or not suspicion grows.
If I were to have viewed that same post as a mod I would have come to a different conclusion and would have maybe just told him to lay low for a little bit.
Also I remember when I appealed my decision to the ED it was pretty much futile since I am pretty sure he is the one that had an issue with my post in the 1st place
Cannot wait to see you at an event soon................................playing
