Are there any PDGA sanctioned events for this course in the works for 2008?
I played there in the spring of 07 and it is listed as one of my top 3 courses of the 34 in the 6 states that I have played in.
It's nice to be able to come back near home and have a well designed and challenging course to play. I look forward to the next time.

Yes we will!

Looks like we are going to shoot for two or three sanctioned events this year. The first being on March 22 . The weekend before BG AMs. We still have a little work to do, but it looks like it is going to happen. Thanks for the inquiry.

Mesker Park is a great course!!

Hopefully I will be able to make one. The 1st week of March going to the Earlwood Classic, and then the last week of March going to the BG Ams so the one in March is out of the question that would be almost 3500 miles in 1 month. Arms have finally recovered and able to comfortably play tournaments without too much pain.

I'm in a delima I want to play advanced and know I can but my player rating still allows me to play Intermediate, but my play and confidence has really improved since last year.

Looks like a fun course. I'm going to try and make this one..Lots of OB and some Mandos- that "devils tri-angle" hole looks daunting

It is a tough hole standing on the tee but a low and hard shot will get you there for a easy par. If not it's a re-tee from the alternate pad and a penalty stroke :(

The pictures don't do the course the justice it deserves. I came over from Cincy for the Pumpkin shootout and really enjoyed the course. Actually, I really enjoyed the group of people there in Evansville. Matt let us camp out at his farm along the pond and we had a nice fire while he cooked some burgers up on the grill. The course plays really fun. The roads are on almost every hole and come into play often. It can be tough at times but every hole but one is fair...which is better than most courses that try to be tough. With an SSA of 46 Shorts and 50 Longs...I guess you gotta throw in a tough hole just to seperate the contenders from the pretenders.

Yep, we drove up in the morning.

Good course - really tricky to try and place the discs on elevation.

Had fun! you?

I played this on my way to Bowling Green this year. What a fantastic course! The hills sort of remind of Water Works here in KC a little bit. This is a must play if you're ever in Southern Indiana.
