I will be in pheonix(surprise) from sat-tues jan 19-22 for family emergency. If I'm lucky I might be able to play 1 round somewhere. Where is the best course in the area within an hour driving time. Thanks

The local guys can tell you more. I have played vista del camino and fountain hills (longer drive from Phoenix). Both are nice courses but you can loose disc's real quick at fountain hills. I would say vista in scottsdale out of the 2. Spinners on the green next to the vista course is a good place to pick up disc's also.

Conocido Park (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=19) would be the closest for you. Vista del Camino (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=25) would be about 50 mins. away but is much better.

Don't waste your time on any course but Vista. The scenery is OUTSTANDING (Hot Scottdale femanitas on roller blades = NUM NUM NUM)
