What up!

Just wanted people to know that N. Asheboro has a new course!!! That is another course right here in the Piedmont!!! Going to check it out Saturday morning early and will write up a review. If anybody has been out there, please let us know what you think.

I went out there.

Overall, not a bad course. I would compare it to Johnson Street white tees. Course is easily managable with great signs and flags (with large numbers) on all the pins. We could add another set of pads to make the course a bit more difficult. I could see a top pro shoting a 42 out there and a 38 if they were really on. Baskets are sweet, I believe they were the same as Barber Park (Mach 5?). There is a swimming pool, kids playground, drink machines and bathrooms, so A+ for all the amenities. I shot a 54, but should of been in the 40s as I was out there too early for my game and couldnt hit a 20' putt. I will go out there again soon, just to prove to myself I can shot well out there. The course is mostly wooded and a few holes (2 to be exact) were very short (less than 200').
Go out a play the course if you are in the area because it will make you think. And oh yeah...85% on the holes are designed for a lefty so you best bring your flick.

Shot 51, and started bogey, bogey...Just a matter of time and the course will be mine!!!

Well the World champion's and fathers played to the N. asheboro park to day. we also ran into friends from Albermarle, Steve, Scott, and John. it looks like 52's where scores for the day. The champs, and Big Wig. and two of the Albermarle guys finished out at -2. I don't do as well I think 2 up. Made a long putt to save par on one of the first holes used up all my putt in one shot. could putt the rest of the day.

The shot of the day was David Sr. 60' putt, called the birdie, faster than David Jr could sa, "yea right "the chains exploded.
