We just got done with the National Physical Education conference (AAHPERD) in Fort Worth, Texas. It had to have been our best show yet as the booth was always busy with folks seeking out disc golf verses just a few years ago where we had to hustle folks to try putting a disc.

This year, EDGE was selected for an "official" presentation. Des and I couldn't believe the standing room only crowd that had gathered including folks out in the hallway. We gave a powerful presentation that strengthened the benefits of disc golf in many a folks minds.

It doesn't hurt to both hit back to back 50 foot putts either :p

EDGE has accepted two invitations to give featured presentations on disc golf at the following conferences:

--2008 Texas Physical Education Conference this fall in Corpus Christi, Texas

--Central AAHPERD Conference in the Winter of 2009. The Central AAHPERD will consist of teachers and recreational specialists from IA, MN, MO, NE, SD, ND, CO, WY and KS.

These opportunities will be great places to expose the sport to decision makers and link potential partners with the ongoing EDGE TCProgram.
