Trying to modify my throwing form to reduce a pain on the front of my right shin about 6 inches about my ankle(plant foot) and my right upper inner thigh(groin). I have bad form and get little push off with my left foot(shattered ankle-old football injury). I seem to push in my throwing motion with my chest muscle and have very little pull with my back muscle. Thanks for any advice.

Are you spinning on your heel or forefoot?

More on the right side of the forefoot. When I just practiced a run up and plant I could feel the pressure(pain) about 4 inches about my foot on my inside of my shin. Maybe I will try the spinning on the heel. Also my spin is delayed which puts pressure on that plant leg shin.

Maybe you should try throwing Sidearm. It puts less stress on your knees and ankles. Just a thought. :D
