I'm thinking the best performance might be on a course that the player is not familiar with. All of those are great performances with Ken's likely the best for 2007 and perhaps many years. I'm not sure where we've ever had the best rating of all time on a layout duplicated back-to-back. However, Coda, McCree and Ken were playing familiar courses even though a few holes at Winthrop change each year. Can anyone think of a 2007 example where a player shot a record on a course they had essentially seen for the first time in competition?

I'm thinking those who saw Markus shoot the 53 on the Peak coruse at Sugarbush were quite impressed for a single round performance. No rating on that until Nov 13th since results are official at the moment.

The course were coda shot 3 41's is impressive. That's my home course. My rating doesn't show it, but I'm not that bad. I've played Lions a million times and my best is a 45 and I was on that round. There are plenty of holes where if your disc is just off line you're looking at a 3 or 4. Then he did it 3 times!! Crazy!

That was the first thing that popped into my mind. This course is the most work I have ever had playing disc golf and I played from the Whites. Markus tore it up in winds that as intense as I have ever played in. 53 on the Peak is just plain silly.

That being said, Ken beat the pants off the best in the world and it is hard to argue with that being the best performance
