Dave has been diagnosed with Acute myelocytic leukemia

After speaking wiht his wife, it looks like he got it diagnosed before it was way too late.

From what I read about this there is a 20-40% rate for recovery through the 5 year mark, if after 5 years there is no recurrance they are considered cured.

He is currently in the hospital and has undergone some chemotherapy and his wife said his cell production is "up"

I'm still trying to put together all the info on this.
