Hello everybody, about a month a ago I received an email from this organization called "Turning Point Nation" a nonprofit organization that provides the encouragement and support needed for people who have major physical challenges. Turning Point sponsors a wide variety of activities such as scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, archery, hunting, waterskiing, sailing, hand cycling, tennis and basketball. They would like to add Disc Golf to their agenda!!

Anyway, LODGA has been invited to be the first ones to introduce Disc Golf to this great organization... Jimbob and I decided to volunteer but we are badly in need of 6 more volunteers & 3 more baskets! Of course DISCS!!!

Turning point is having what they call <font color="blue">"1st Annual San Antonio Extravaganza on September 15th at Woodlawn Lake between 9:00 - 4:00 p.m. </font>

I know, I know 2 tourneys are scheduled on that date Carrollton, &amp; Bobcat Open, but if anybody isn't going to either tourney and doesn't have any plans that day we would really appreciate their Disc Golf knowledge.... If you can't make it and would still like to help I will take any decent used plastic as donations as well... Jimbob and I have old used plastic but not enough. We have 3 baskets to take with us but need 3 more. I DESPERATELY NEED VOLUNTEERS!! This event will more then likely be in the media so it would be good for this sport to see us do good and would also help us show San Antonio, that LODGA is a great club and DISC GOLF is the best sport for anybody challenged or not.... Stacey and I will be playing the Bobcat Open but we have a DGA Mach Lite and an Innova Skill Shot portable. You can borrow them if you don't mind portables. Sounds like fun, Promote, Promote, Promote!!!

I have the basket I took to Hueys, and no plans for that day. If you need it or me , let me know. :D:D:D

I can definitely be there in the afternoon, possibly all day. I don't have a basket, probably why I putt worse than Scott, but I do have an attitude. I'll see if I can scare up some extra plastic.
